Automatic Zipper Bag Packaging Line | One Cycle from Flat Pouch to Sealed Resealable Bag
Running a manual zipper bagging operation requires multiple steps: opening the pouch, filling, closing the zipper, and finally sealing the top edge. Each step introduces potential error and labor cost. Our automatic zipper bag packaging line performs all four steps in a single continuous cycle, producing finished resealable bags at speeds that manual lines cannot match.
The Complete Cycle Explained
The cycle begins with the pouch magazine. An air operated picker removes one flat pre-made zipper pouch from the stack and places it onto a set of grippers. The grippers open the pouch to its full width. A zipper lip separator engages to hold the zipper open. The filling nozzle enters the bag and dispenses the product. After filling, a compressed air blow-off clears the zipper track. A zipper press bar closes the zipper fully. The bag then moves to the top seal station where heated bars seal the remaining open edge. The finished bag drops onto an exit conveyor. The entire cycle takes two to four seconds depending on product fill time.
Integration with Upstream Equipment
The bagging line accepts product from any upstream filler including multi-head weighers, auger fillers, cup fillers, and piston fillers. An optional checkweigher rejects bags that fall outside your target weight range. A metal detector can be integrated before or after the checkweigher for food safety compliance.
Built for Continuous Production
The machine frame is heavy duty steel with vibration damping. The sealing bars are made from hardened steel with Teflon coating for long life. Drive components are rated for twenty four hour operation during peak production periods. The electrical panel is air conditioned on high temperature models for hot climate installations.
Operator Friendly Design
The touchscreen interface displays each stage of the cycle in real time graphics. If a bag fails to open correctly, the machine stops before filling to prevent product waste. Rejected bags are automatically counted and can be ejected to a separate bin. The recipe system allows one touch recall of settings for different bag sizes and products.
Included Commissioning
We provide onsite installation supervision and five days of operator training. Remote support via secure internet connection is available for troubleshooting. A starter spare parts kit with sealing bars, grippers, and sensors is included.
